Sharing from the heart We believe everyone has something to share about the Al‑Anon program and their journey of recovery, whether you're a newbie or are a longtime member. Al‑Anon helps us recover from the effects of someone else's drinking, so we may live healthier, happier lives. On this journey, there may be tears, fears, joys and laughter as we learn and grow. As we get stronger we're able to respond to sorrows, and setbacks, recognize miracles as well as use the tools of the program to live life in a whole new way.
It takes courage to be share a vulnerable part of yourself and write with complete honesty, but finding that courage may not only help you and your recovery but those who read it. You don't have to have all the answer nor does it have to be perfect. The World Service Order will edit your submission before publishing it. The important thing is you can feel proud that you contributed to the Al-anon literature that helps so many heal around the world.
